Travelling on a Thalys train
For high-speed rail travel from Paris to Amsterdam, Brussels and Cologne, Thalys is the obvious choice. Thalys is fast and reliable. The company’s bold red styling creates strong brand presence on a tight network of business routes. But Thalys is good for leisure travel too, with competitive pricing and excellent connections with Eurostar at its Brussels hub.
Thalys runs year-round direct trains from Paris to Brussels and a dozen other stations in Belgium, the Netherlands and the Rhine-Ruhr area of Germany. Additional services speed from Amsterdam and Brussels to Lille and seasonally to the French Alps and Provence.
Using single-deck TGV-style trains with a strong branding, Thalys appeals to the international business and leisure markets. Thalys trains are sleek and spacious and offer two classes of seating. Advance seat reservation is mandatory in both classes – it is included in the price of your ticket.
