Avignon by train booking guides
There are several options for travelling to Avignon by train from London, Paris, Lille and Brussels. The most popular route is the TGV from Paris to Avignon, which departs frequently every day with a total journey time of under 3 hours.
The city has two main stations, Avignon-Centre and Avignon TGV, with a shuttle train service linking the two. Direct trains depart from the city for Nimes, Marseille and Lyon. It is possible to travel to Avignon from Brussels and Geneva directly, and from Amsterdam with a single change.
In May 2015, Eurostar launches a new year-round direct service from London to Avignon. Read our Avignon by train booking guides for more detail or search above for trains to Avignon from other destinations.
