Running east from Lyon, the pace slows as the train runs through landscapes that become more and more mountainous.
St-Jean-de-Maurienne Arvan to Saint-Michel - Valloire
TER regional trains run along the Maurienne Valley from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne Arvan to Saint-Michel-Valloire and beyond. The journey between the two stations takes about ten minutes. The rail service is supplemented by occasional buses run by French rail operator SNCF. Tickets issued by Loco2 are valid on these SNCF bus services.
