That’s right. Loco2 has come to the iPhone!

From a local commute to an international flight-free adventure, the Loco2 app makes it easy to plan, search and book a rail journey at home or away straight from your phone.

Powerful search functionality, mobile tickets and a clean, simple interface for bookings in the UK and Europe - introducing Loco2 for iPhone!

We're committed to making train booking as simple as possible, so developing an easy-to-use mobile app was the next logical step in our journey.

Things you’ll love about the app

  • The iPhone app is free and available to everyone. You can use it as guest or register for an account (also for free!) to unlock additional features.

  • Unlike other companies, Loco2 doesn't charge booking fees for trains in the UK or anywhere else (the only exception is credit card fees that we pass on from our friends at the bank). The same is true on the app.

  • Loco2's powerful search technology is now available on your phone. This means you can find times and prices for trains in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany and beyond, in just a few taps.

Wait, there's more!

Mobile tickets are available for thousands of journeys. Present tickets on your phone in France, Italy and Germany, with more coming soon. Where mobile tickets aren't yet available, confirm tickets in an instant and collect them from the station.

There's loads of optional extras to speed up the booking process - save searches, passenger details and payment cards for even faster checkout, and set and manage booking alerts so you never miss out on the cheapest tickets.

More features of the appIf time is of the essence you can book within a few taps, but the app has all the versatility of the Loco2 website. Plan sophisticated routes by adding via stations, check where your train stops, select from the full range of fares, and choose seating preferences, all on your phone.

We decided to build an iPhone app first because that's the device used by most Loco2 users.

Android is coming soon.

In the meantime please try out our mobile website, which is designed to work as smoothly as an app. Maintaining the same high standard of user experience across all devices was a driving force behind our recent redesign, so if you find anything broken, please let us know and we'll fix it!
