Our new iOS app is optimised for larger screens, delivering a great experience on iPads.
Since launching our first iPhone and Android apps last year, we've been working hard to make Loco2 faster and more intuitive on your phone. Today we're adding another string to our bow, as we release an iPad version of our iOS application. It's easy to use and really, really ridiculously good looking on your tablet.
The design of the iPad app differs from the iPhone version by intelligently using the extra space available on larger screens. It features a new two-column layout which makes searching and browsing search results easier (especially useful for longer trips that involve changing trains), and a simple basket to review tickets before checkout.
The new app also retains all the useful features from the iPhone version, optimised for tablet users:
Like our other apps, the iPad app is available as a free download from the App Store. Use it as a guest or register for an account (also free) to unlock additional features and speed up the booking process.
iPhone users will also notice lots of improvements in this version, since we've made more of the app native to reduce loading times and smooth interactions.
