Engine Room Explained
Booking European train travel can be tough. Multiple operators, countries and timetables that don’t all speak the same language. That’s the problem Loco2 set out to solve, and we’re making progress every day. And to help get you there quicker, we’ve opened up the Engine Room.
The Engine Room is a discussion space for the questions a timetable or route planner simply can’t answer. It’s a wealth of information by and for hardened travellers and adventurous first-timers. And as well as additions from our own staff we have on board the Man in Seat 61, Europe’s top train brain.
“What’s the cheapest way to get to Croatia, via Italy?”
“How do I use an InterRail pass?”
“Will a 30 minute interchange between Paris Nord and Gare de Lyon work with two kids?””
There’s nothing like the advice of an experienced traveller for questions like these. The Engine Room is a place to share your experiences, advice and plan your trips. With our team of travel experts, even the toughest travel queries get tackled.
We’re working hard to help you book any and every train in Europe. And at the heart of Loco2 is the Engine Room, a community of train travellers helping to shape our progress.
Together we can inspire the excitement and romance that was around when the first train tracks were laid. Let’s build some momentum – full steam ahead!
