That's right, you heard us. Eurostar ski trains on sale from 31st July. Now stop sunning yourself and put on your salopettes.
Tickets for the Eurostar ski train for 2012-2013 are now open! At Loco2 we bemoan the early arrival of Christmas adverts and the like, so you’ll have to forgive us for posting this in July, especially because summer has only just begun. But since booking early is the best way to find cheap ski train tickets we are jumping on the bandwagon.
The first night train will run on Friday 21st December 2012, quickly followed by the first day service on Saturday 22nd December. Services will continue weekly on Friday (overnight) and Saturday (during the day) until the second week of April. The times of some return trains are still subject to change, but they’re available to book now and we’ll update this post as soon as we have more information. And if you do book you’ll receive an email they change.
Trains will stop at Moûtiers, Aime la Plagne (outbound only*) and Bourg St Maurice, getting you to 40 resorts throughout the Alps, including Les Arcs, La Plagne, Tignes, Val D’Isere, Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens.
Return fares start at £149 per person in Standard Class, or £229 per person in Standard Premier. Prices on Loco2 are the same as those available directly from Eurostar. All tickets will be available to print at home.
* Passengers seeking inbound travel back to London should board the train at Bourg St Maurice.
